  • WHAT IS ARARAT BOX?

    Ararat Box is the first-ever subscription-based company that delivers a boxful of delicious Armenian snacks directly to your doorstep every three months. Each season, our team carefully curates and handpicks an original assortment of authentic Armenian tastes to bring a piece of our culture and home to you.

    The Armenian cuisine has a history of 2,000 years, the abundance of unique tastes on Armenian tables is the result of Armenian hospitality. The hosts will never let you leave the table without trying absolutely everything. So, we wanted to share with you the experience of unique tastes that will make you love Armenian food and Armenia.

  • IS THERE A PHONE NUMBER ?

    We don't offer phone support since we feel we're able to offer our best customer care through email and social media. Ararat Box responds to every message (starting with the oldest ones first) within 24 hours. Please, note that the customer support team will be unavailable on Sundays. We will get back to you on Monday as soon as possible. If you haven't gotten a response yet, try checking your spam folder.   • WHAT’S INSIDE THE BOX?

    Your seasonal pack includes up to 20 authentic Armenian snacks, including chocolates, sweets, honey, various creams, nuts, dried fruits, coffee, tea, sour lavash, gata, halva, granola, and many more. Each quarter, the selection is changed randomly, which guarantees a unique experience every season. Also, you will find an interesting guide about the best ways to enjoy the products in your box and some tips regarding the health benefits of the items.

  • CAN I CUSTOMIZE MY BOX?

    Unfortunately, for now, box customization is not possible for Ararat Box. We buy thousands of products from various vendors and change the selection every season. You will receive a guide in each box about the products.

  • I'M VEGAN/VEGETARIAN. CAN I ORDER AN ARARAT BOX?

    Almost 40% of the products in the box are Vegan, about 55% are Vegetarian, and only 5% of the products might be Non-Vegetarian due to several ingredients like gelatin and flavorings like BBQ.

  • CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE MY ALLERGIES?

    Unfortunately, we are unable to customize Ararat Box to accommodate allergies at this time.

SHIPPING

  • DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

    Yes, we ship internationally. We have already shipped over 30.000 boxes to around 66 countries. If you receive an error message that the item cannot be shipped to a selected location, it can mean that the shipping is temporarily suspended at your location due to Covid-related shipping restrictions. Please, contact our support team for further information ([email protected]).

  • DO YOU PROVIDE TRACKING INFORMATION?

    Sure, once your box is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number. If you are located in the United States, your package will be shipped with Buy Armenian INC. The rest of the parcels are shipped with HayPost.

    Once you have received your tracking number, you can track the order on the HayPost website.

    The packages shipping to the United States can tracked on the UPS website.

  • I JUST PLACED AN ORDER, WHEN WILL MY BOX GET SHIPPED?

    We are shipping the boxes in batches, so it might take around 3-15 days for your box to start its journey to the post office. As soon as the parcel leaves Armenia, you will be able to track its movement.

  • HOW CAN I CHANGE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?

    You can easily change your shipping address for the upcoming shipping by contacting our support team ([email protected]). If the package is not shipped out yet, our team will be able to edit the address for you.

  • HOW MUCH IS THE SHIPPING FEE?

    The shipping price will be calculated at the checkout after filling in the address.

  • HOW LONG DOES THE SHIPPING TAKE?

    ​​The packages usually arrive to the USA and EU countries within 2-4 weeks starting from the day they leave Armenia. For the customers located in Canada and Australia, the shipping process may take 4-6 weeks.

    Due to the impact of Covid-19 on international shipping, delays are possible. Boxes usually arrive 1-4 weeks after the shipping date, but please allow up to 6 weeks, as there might be local customs-related or weather delays. Ararat Box is not responsible for possible delays due to weather or postal disruption or customs.

    We kindly ask you to wait at least 6 weeks and not to get worried about the parcel being lost or missing.

  • WILL CUSTOMS OFFICE CAUSE A DELAY IN THE DELIVERY OF MY PACKAGE?

    Before placing an order, we recommend you to check the customs regulations that can affect the shipping process and cause delays or problems. Please, keep in mind that the customs regulations are stricter in certain countries. After customs clears your package, it will then be sent to your local post office for further delivery.

    Please, note that shipments to Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, and some other locations may require additional information from customs such as your Passport No. or Tax ID. They may also require a payment of extra taxes to let the parcel arrive at its final destination.

  • IT HAS BEEN A WHILE THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE MY BOX. SHOULD I GET WORRIED?

    As there is a lack of cargo flights between some countries, the parcels stay longer in transit zones than initially estimated.

    According to our policies and guidelines, we cannot refund you the full amount of the box, knowing that it is still on its way. We won’t be able to compensate for the delays caused by international shipping providers.

    Our team truly appreciates your patience and understanding.

    If your order is delayed for more than 15 days over the estimated time of arrival, please contact [email protected] and our team will file an investigation with HayPost to track the box more precisely.

  • MY BOX IS AT THE POST OFFICE. DO I NEED TO PICK IT UP?

    If the tracking system indicates that the item has reached the collection point, please go to your local post office as soon as possible and collect the parcel by providing them with your tracking number.

    If you do not know where your local post office is, please call your country's main post office hub help line to determine where your item is being held.

    If you do not collect the box as quickly as possible, it will be shipped back to Armenia.

  • WHAT IF MY BOX PRODUCTS ARRIVE DAMAGED?

    Even though we pack all products in double boxes and bubble wrap for best insulation and life, damaging exceptions may happen in less than 1% of orders. If your products are damaged, feel free to send a photo to our support team ([email protected]) and they will be happy to assist you. Based on the visual condition of the products, our team will decide the amount that should be refunded. Please, note that the refund cannot take place in case the box shell is damaged, but the products are fine to consume.

  • DO I REALLY HAVE AN EXPIRED BOX OR IS THIS A CONFUSION?

    Kindly consider that in Armenia we stamp production date on most of the products, not the expiration date. The date order is DD/MM/YY. Also, on the packaging, you can see a note in Armenian that says “Արտադրված է”, which indicates the item production/manufacturing date, and not best before. Rest assured, everything that you received is very fresh and has a long shelf life, so you can safely try anything.

  • WILL I BE CHARGED IMPORT TAXES UPON DELIVERY?

    Some countries we ship our boxes to can require the customer to pay an import tax according to their state rules. Each country has their own laws and regulations. If custom charges occur, the customer is responsible for the fees.

  • WHY DID MY LOCAL POST OFFICE SEND THE BOX BACK TO YEREVAN?

    There are several reasons why this would happen:

    • You were not at home at the time of delivery.

    Ararat Box stamps your phone number on the box and some post offices will give you a call to let you know you have a parcel in the post office. Others will hold it for 3, 7 or 14 days. However some post offices may decide to ship the box back without giving you a warning. In this case you can contact them for further details and file a claim.

    • The address you have indicated was not recognized by the post office .

    If your address is incorrect then the post office will send the parcel back to the Ararat Box. Some post offices in several countries can contact you via the phone number provided on the box in order to ask you to clarify what your address is.

    • The address you have indicated is correct but the customs office could not deliver the box.

    Rarely, but it happens that the customs office of your country holds the box and does not ship it to the local post office, it gets stuck there for a while and gets shipped back to Ararat Box.
  • WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BOX GETS SENT BACK TO YEREVAN?

    Ararat Box is not responsible for the shipping decisions made by post offices of different countries and has no control over their procedures. If the box gets shipped back to Yerevan, you will have two options:

    • Pay the shipping fee for the box and let us ship it to you again.

    • Let us refund you the box price. Ararat Box does not make any profit from the shipping cost and won’t be able to refund the shipping fee. Besides, a part of the shipping fee is hidden in the box price. We won’t be able to refund the hidden price.
  • CAN I ORDER AN ARARAT BOX IF I AM LOCATED IN ARMENIA?

    Yes, you can order an Ararat box by contacting our support team ([email protected]). You won’t be able to place an order on the website if you are located within the territory of Armenia. Please, note that the delivery within Armenia is free.

  • CAN I PURCHASE AN ARARAT BOX TO BE DELIVERED IN ARMENIA?

    Sure, you can purchase a box to be delivered in Armenia. Please, contact our support team ([email protected]) and they will guide you through the process. Please, note that you won’t be able to place the order on the website as the delivery within Armenia is free.

SUBSCRIPTION OPTIONS

  • CAN I PURCHASE PAST BOXES?

    Thank you for your interest in purchasing our past boxes! Unfortunately, due to limited amounts, the past boxes won’t always be available. However, please, contact our support team ([email protected]) and if your requested past box is still available, we will be happy to ship it to your address.

  • WHICH MONTH'S BOX AM I GOING TO GET IF I SIGN UP?

    If you sign up for Ararat Box in September, October, or November, you will receive the Fall edition box. If you sign up in December, January, or February, you will receive the Winter edition box.

    For example, if you join us by November 30 at 11:59 p.m. GMT+4, you will receive the Fall edition box, if you join us on December 1, 12 a.m. GMT+4, you will receive the Winter edition box.

    Please, note that if a certain box is no longer available for purchase, it will appear as “out of stock” on the website.

  • WHAT IS THE COST OF THE ARARAT BOX MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION?

    With a quarterly subscription plan, Ararat Box subscription costs $49.95 for the Large Box and $29.95 for the Small Box, plus the shipping cost.

    We also offer an annual subscription option that offers a discount. The discount will be calculated at the checkout stage. You can learn more about it on our website.

  • HOW DO I DEACTIVATE MY SUBSCRIPTION?

    To deactivate your subscription, please contact us at ([email protected]) and provide with your subscription details. Please, note that deactivating your subscription only prevents your subscription from renewing in the future. This means that it does not cancel the already fulfilled orders. Only the unfulfilled orders can be canceled.

  • I WANT TO UPGRADE MY SUBSCRIPTION. HOW CAN I DO THAT?

    You can upgrade your subscription by contacting our support team ([email protected]).

  • HOW DO I ORDER MULTIPLE BOXES TO DIFFERENT ADDRESSES?

    We really appreciate your desire to share Ararat Box with others and send a piece of Armenia to your friends. The concept of Ararat Box gives an amazing opportunity to surprise your friends and share a piece of Armenia with them.

    Because we need a unique shipping address for each package or gift order, it's currently not possible to order multiple boxes going to different addresses in the same order. Please, place a new order for each box that is going to a different address.

  • CAN I GIFT AN ARARAT BOX?

    Of course, you can! Share the taste experience with your friends by only applying your recipient's shipping address during checkout instead of your own. In the “NAME” panel, indicate the recipient's name for him or her to be able to pick up the parcel. If the package indicates your name, the recipient might have issues receiving it. You can also add a note in your gift box by simply contacting our support team ([email protected]).

PAYMENT AND CHECKOUT

  • WHICH PAYMENT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?

    Currently, payments can be made via PayPal, Credit Card, and AMEX. You can choose the payment method at the checkout page.

  • WHAT IS 2CHECKOUT?

    2Checkout.com is an online payment processing service that helps you do online payments.

    Nor PayPal, neither Stripe, Apple Pay, or Braintree (popular payment gateways) work in our country and we are obliged to use 2checkout.

  • WHEN I SUBSCRIBE FOR 3 OR 12 MONTHS, WILL I BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY THE FULL PRICE?

    Yes, you will be charged all the money in advance. Note, that by subscribing for 3 or 12 months, you will get a discount, and the total price will be shown at the checkout. 3 or 12 months subscribers can easily skip a shipment by contacting ([email protected]).

  • IN CASE OF CHOOSING THE QUARTERLY SUBSCRIPTION, CAN I SELECT SPECIFIC SEASONS OR WILL THEY BE DELIVERED IN THE ORDER OF THE SEASONS?

    At the moment, you don’t have an option to choose specific seasons. You will receive the boxes according to the seasonal order. You can reach us via direct messages on social media or at [email protected].

  • DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS?

    Ararat Box does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges, but please, contact us with any questions or concerns you may have and we'll always do our best to help resolve any issues. You can reach us via direct messages on social media or at [email protected].

  • WILL I BE CHARGED IMPORT TAXES UPON DELIVERY?

    Some countries we ship our boxes to can require the customer to pay an import tax according to their state rules. Each country has their own laws and regulations. If custom charges occur, the customer is responsible for the fees.

  • CAN I BE BILLED IN A CURRENCY OTHER THAN USD?

    At this time, all the orders are processed in USD.

    The payment system will automatically convert the amount from USD to the currency of your debit card. Please, note that the box price in your local currency can differ every day based on the exchange rate at that point in time.

  • WHEN WILL MY SUBSCRIPTION BE BILLED?

    Your subscription will renew on the same date 3 or 12 months from the original purchase date, depending on the subscription plan you have chosen.

  • CAN I PICK THE DATE YOU BILL ME?

    We don't have a way to customize your billing date, so your card will be automatically billed on the original purchase date per your subscription.
